NI’s Laura Graham secures podium place at South Dublin 10k!

South Dublin 10k Road Race:

Northern Ireland international Laura Graham (Mourne Runners) claimed a runners up spot at the popular South Dublin 10k road race (Sunday 22nd July 2018).

The event, which is part of the Dublin Marathon Series, attracted significant interest from Northern Ireland based athletes.

National marathon champion Laura, who will represent Ireland at the European Championships next month, crossed the line in 35:10 for 2nd place. Fellow Berlin bound athlete Gladys Ganiel O’Neill (North Belfast Harriers) narrowly missed a podium spot after recording 36:20 for 4th place.

In the men’s race, Eoin Hughes (Acorns AC) led the local contingent home in 33:55, which was enough for 6th place.

A number of athletes from Paul Pollock’s #DreamRunDublin18 group were also in action at the event.  Full results are available HERE.
