Will the 32nd Deep RiverRock Belfast City Marathon bring success for you?
This year, the organisers of the Deep RiverRock Belfast City Marathon are introducing an extra incentive to all locally based or qualified athletes to encourage them to participate in the 32nd Deep RiverRock Belfast City Marathon on Monday 6th May 2013.

The organisers are setting aside an extra prize fund of £3,000. This fund will be divided equally along all locally based or qualified athletes who run faster than the following times;

Men – 2hours 35mins 00secs
Female – 3hours 20mins 00secs

Any money won under this incentive will be additional to any other prize which an athlete may win.

So, do you think you have a record breaking time? To qualify for a share of this fund athletes must fulfil at least one of the following criteria; a) Permanent resident in Northern Ireland for at least 12 months prior to Race Day (6th May 2013), b) Born in Northern Ireland or c) At least 1 parent born in Northern Ireland.

*Please note there is only one fund of £3,000 NOT one for men and one women!!

The Deep RiverRock Belfast City Marathon is proud to work with sponsors such as Podium 4 Sport, Translink, Daily Mirror, Saucony, U105, Tayto, Athletics Northern Ireland, Sport Northern Ireland and Belfast City Council.

The Deep RiverRock are proud that the Cancer Focus Northern Ireland is the Official Charity for the 2013 event and encourages all participants to dig deep into their pockets and raise money for this very worthwhile charity.
