Omagh 5 mile Road Race 2018:

Sperrin Harriers’ Brian Taggart and Armagh AC’s Niamh Donnelly excelled as athletes turned out for the annual Omagh 5 mile road race (Saturday 6th October 2018).

Brian Taggart was dominant at the head of the pack, securing a well-deserved victory on 28:06 (1st place).  Paul Barbour (Unattached) claimed the runners up spot in 29:35 (2nd place), just ahead of Connor Martin of Sperrin Harriers, who crossed the line in 29:35 (3rd place).

In the ladies race, emerging Armagh AC athlete Niamh Donnelly won in 32:07 (1st place).  Paula Donnelly (Unattached) followed in 32:29 for 2nd place, before Annemarie McKernan of Acorns AC completed the top three in 34:58 (3rd place).
