About The Challenge

Ongoing, FREE to enter, Weekly Age Graded 5k Challenge organised by Dave Lonnen @ www.runcoaching.co.uk.

Please pay strict attention to current social distancing rules in your country whilst completing the challenge.

All entries must be submitted by using the email or message button at the top of this page. Simply enter your time, age and the Garmin or Strava link to the activity with your 5k run details. (Exclusively downhill 5k routes will not be recorded).

Enter anytime, it is free to everyone it does not matter how fast or how slow you are, it is about keeping the training motivation during the restrictions. All times are training times and do not count as official PBs.

Times are ranked by age grading % score using the ‘Run Grader’ App.

Treadmill runs cannot be used.

One time per person only may be submitted each week commencing Sunday to the following Saturday. Your elapsed time for the run will be used (this includes stops etc).

At the end of every month commencing 30 April 2020 and until restrictions on racing are lifted, I will be offering a prize to the top male and female athlete on the leaderboard of a FREE runners MOT. This involves a complete review and analysis of current training and outline recommendations and plan based on goals and targets. You can take this yourself or offer it to a friend.

Only one prize per athlete so if the same athlete leads again at the end of month 2, then the second place athlete will be awarded the prize.
