SEAA London XC Championships 2018:
Jessica Craig (North Down AC) claimed a notable victory at the SEAA London XC Championships this weekend (Saturday 17th November 2018).
At the competitive event, Jessica featured strongly at the head of the 300 strong pack early on, before coming through to take control. Eventually the Northern Ireland international moved clear to secure 1st place and the associated gold medal.
Jessica’s performance also helped her second club, Herne Hill Harriers, to silver medals after they finished in 2nd place in the team standings.
After the race, Jessica expressed her delight via social media, saying: “(I’m) delighted and still in a little shock to be totally truthful to come away and get a wee gold at SEAA London XC Championships”.
