NI ladies secure podium places at Swansea Half Marathon:

Northern Ireland athletes Laura Graham (Mourne Runners / Ryan Maxwell) and Gladys Ganiel O’Neill (North Belfast Harriers / Matt Shields) secured podium places at the Swansea Half Marathon in Wales today (Sunday 24th June 2018).

The event was voted the UK’s Best Half Marathon in 2017 and therefore attracts a quality field.

As the talented duo continue their preparations for the European Athletics Championships in August, they performed well in very warm conditions, with Laura clocking 1:15:56 for 2nd place and Gladys 1:17:22 for 3rd place.

GB & NI international Tracy Barlow (Thames Valley AC) won in a course record of 1:13:51 (1st place).
