Earlier this week (Monday 3rd July 2017), Rio Olympian Kerry O’Flaherty (Newcastle AC) looked to be back in top form (following a calf injury) in Hungary. Kerry recorded a season’s best of 9:57.47 for 11th place in the 3,000m Steeplechase – this was just 3.5secs outside the Commonwealth Games 2018 standard.
