We are very pleased to announce that entries for the 2020 Mourne Mountain Marathon will open this Saturday 1st August.

MMM 2020 19th & 20th September

Over the past few months we have been working out what we would need to do in order to comply with government regulations and guidance and to keep everyone involved with the event as safe as possible. We are now confident that we can put on a great event in more or less the traditional format.

Changes To Format

Of course there will be some changes to rules, kit requirements and how we do things which you can read all about on our website and in particular the Coronavirus Measures section.

Two main differences to other years are that there is no score class and each team must bring an extra tent, to be used at the overnight camp for Social Distancing. The two day Elite, B, C and D class are available to enter.

External Factors

There are also a small number of external factors that are completely outside of our control and which could yet either force us to cancel the event, or make significant changes to what we can offer. In this case we will offer a full refund on request. Please read our terms of entry for more information.

41st Mourne Mountain Marathon

We are really excited about being able to run the 41st Mourne Mountain Marathon especially after such a difficult 6 months for everyone. We would love for you to join us and share in, what we hope will be a great and memorable experience.
