Brighton Half Marathon 2018:
Northern Ireland’s Paul Pollock (Annadale Striders / Andrew Hobdell) led the 12,000 strong field home at a windy Brighton Half Marathon in England today (Sunday 25th February 2018).
The Rio Olympian clocked 1:06:57 for 1st place, finishing well over a minute ahead of his closest rival, well-known endurance athlete Paul Martelletti (VP & Tower Hamlets AC), who crossed the line in 1:08:16 (2nd place).
After the race, Paul expressed his delight via social media: “Delighted to end another solid training week leading home 12,000 windswept runners @GrandBrighton @BrightonHalf. Amazing atmosphere and support all round!”
