The annual Run Forest Run 10K & 5K takes place this coming Saturday in Gosford Forest Park.

Hundreds of runners have already signed up for the award-winning race organised by BORN2RUN Events.

Last year almost 700 runners took part and it’s anticipated that this year will see an even bigger field with athletes travelling from all over Ireland to participate in the event.

Runners of all abilities take part in the event with many Couch 2 5K graduates taking part in the 5K event as well as more experienced runners from a wide variety of running clubs.

All runners will receive post race refreshments as well as a beautiful commemorative medal. If it’s your first ever race you’ll also get a bonus ‘My First Race’ medal.

BORN2RUN’s charity partners for the event are Macmillan Northern Ireland.

Online entry closes on Wednesday night at 11pm. For more information or to enter go to
