Saturday 27th & Sunday 28th of July seen the Irish National Senior Athletics Championships take place in Morton Stadium Dublin. Athletes from across the island arrived in North Dublin for the two day event with clubs from across the North well represented in both Track and Field.

Runner Beans Podcast were on location recording pre and post race reaction from many of the athletes and coaches, including some big names from North of the boarder. Hear from Ciara Mageean, Stephen Scullion, EoghanTotten, Mark Kirk, Conor Bradley, Kerry O’Flaherty, Richard Rodgers and lots more.

NI athletes were well represented on the podiums in the middle to medium distance events with Ciara and Stephen backing up their titles from 2018. Kerry O’Flaherty continued good form to take silver in the steeple while in the 5000m Bradley secured silver with Newcastle AC athlete Ryan Forsyth taking home Bronze.
