(Barry McCarroll, Colm Murphy and Robbie Marsh)
Well done to the SGR team of Barry Mccarroll, Colm Murphy and Robbie Marsh who ran at the Mourne Seven Sevens Challenge on Saturday. The Seven Sevens which is a 18 mile, 8100ft test of endurance and mountain skills tested the men to their limits but these guys are use to this gruelling mountain running and over came both the weather and the mountains. This event was the last training run for our Robbie Marsh who had great support from SGR teammates Barry and Colm . Robbie who is taking on the world famous UTMB Mont-Blanc in 2 weeks with over 20,000 runners in Chamonix on a tough route that will see Robbie take on the French, Italian and Swiss mountain range in a unique experience. Well done to all the SGR team in the Mourne’s this weekend ,great to see our members take on these kind of events and encourage others members to give it ago someday. Safe travels to Robbie and Good Luck from all your SGR teammates .
