PETER 5TH IN CASTLEBLAYNEY 5K ….
Well done to SGR Peter Rogers who stormed home in the 9th running of the Castleblayney SuperValue 5km road race on Sunday. In a strong field of 436 runners Peter crossed the finish line in an outstanding time of 00:17:20 and finishing in 5th place over all and just off a podium finish by seconds .
BRIAN AT BIRMINGHAM 10K ………
SGR Brian Muckian took part in the 10th Cannock Rotary 10K just outside Birmingham on Sunday and proudly represented the club with a great run with a great time of 00:46:59, at going to press there was no official times out but this is from Brian’s Strava time. Great to see the SGR top once again further afield and showing off our running culture from our area. Well Done Brian.

RONAN TAKES 5TH PLACE IN DUNDALK PARKRUN …………
SGR Ronan Halpenny ran an amazing time at the Dundalk Parkrun on Saturday and finishing in 5th place in 00:21:53 . Great to see another SGR take on a local Parkrun ,Well done Ronan.
