The biggest SGR turnout of the weekend involved those who took part in this year’s Hillsborough Castle Running Festival in which a team of four SGR took part in all events at the festival.Stephen Quinn and Seamus Loughran ran in the Half Marathon that seen Stephen finishing in 8th place over all . Malachy Rafferty ran in the 10k event and Sharin Byrne ran again this weekend by taking part in the 5k. In true SGR spirit they all came away with great times and this well organised race is well worth a trip by even more SGR next year.

EXTERN DAMBUSTER 5K…..
SGR Sharin Byrne was the the lone representative for the club at this years Dambusters 5k at the silent Valley and yet another back to back 5k event this weekend for Sharin that seen her also run at the 5k event at the Hillsborough Castle Running Festival the following day. Sharin crossed the finish line in a great time of 48 mins. Well done Sharin..
RYAN 12TH AT SEVEN SEVENS CHALLENGE …..
Well done to SGR Ryan Carson who finished 12th in the Seven Sevens Challenge 2019 the 18 Mile mountain event in the Mournes last week.Ryan came in with an amazing time of 05:00:42 Well done Ryan from everyone at club
