Run Dromore 10k & 5k Road Race 2018:
Stephen Duncan (Omagh Harriers) and Amy Bulman (Willowfield Harriers) sealed victory as hundreds of competitors took to the streets of Dromore in County Tyrone, for the 10th annual Dromore 10k & 5k road races (Saturday 23rd June 2018).
In the men’s race, Stephen Duncan saw off a strong challenge from Olympian Colin Griffin (Ballinamore AC) to win in 33:48 (1st place). Colin, who finished in fifth at this years Belfast Marathon, claimed the runners up prize in 34:29 (2nd place), before Stephen Prentice (Annadale Striders) completed the podium in 36:23 (3rd place).
Amy Bulman continued her return to competition with a comfortable win in the ladies race. The Northern Ireland international 39:45 for 1st place in the ladies race and 8th place overall. Paula Donnelly (Unattached) crossed the line in 42:39 for 2nd place, while Irene Clements (1Zero1) clocked 45:34 for 3rd place.
In the associated 5k, Mark McBrearty (Omagh Harriers) won in 18:49 (1st place), with Niamh Donnelly (Armagh AC) taking the ladies title in 21:18 (1st place).
