Well done to NIURA Development Squad members John Miskimmin, Aaron Woodman and Russell Hughes who completed the Denis Rankin Round at the weekend in the Mournes.

John and Aaron finished in 19hrs and Russell in 23hrs along with a friend, Ettienne.

Times are still to be ratified by the Rankin Round committee but unofficially the 19hrs was the second fastest ever to be completed under winter conditions.

Including them, there have only ever been 9 people to successfully complete the winter edition of the round.
John described it as “ an epic adventure”.
