At NiRunning, we are extremely proud to introduce our ‘Physio Room’, a place where our physiotherapy partners, Apex Clinic, Belfast will help and advise runners on injury prevention, treatment and rehabilitation.

As Ireland’s leading physiotherapy and sports injury clinic, the physios at Apex Clinic, Belfast have vast experience in the treatment of sports injuries and in particular, have a strong involvement in the running community, treating all levels of runners. The physiotherapy team at Apex Clinic understand the passion that runners have for running and are fully committed to getting the runners they treat back to running pain-free in the quickest time possible.

Our specialist sports injury physiotherapists will be answering your questions in real time during our ‘live’ session on the first Thursday of every month on the NiRunning Facebook page.

This gives you a fantastic opportunity to get free expert advice on your specific running injuries in an interactive environment. The questions and answers from these clinics will be posted under the above heading.

Monthly Running Articles:

Our running related articles are exclusively written for NiRunning by Rebecca Nelson, Director of Physiotherapy at Apex Clinic, Belfast from her wealth of experience of over 20 years, in treating running related injuries and other sports injuries.

These articles give Rebecca’s personal slant on the treatment of running injuries and all the physio team at Apex Clinic are extensively trained in Rebecca’s regime for the treatment and rehabilitation of such injuries. The articles aim to give you the knowledge you need to get back to pain-free running, or to prevent the occurrence of certain injuries in the first place.
