On Saturday 17th February 2018, nearly one hundred athletes turned out for the Donard Wood 5 mile Trail Race in the Mourne Mountains, an event organised to raise funds for the invaluable Mourne Mountain Rescue Team.

Starting in Donard Park, the runners followed the Donard Trail to the climb up the Granite Trail steps, were they ascended the old Bogie Line to the top of Donard Park.
