Podium 4 Sport Seeley Cup 10k 2016:
Belfast based sports retailer Podium 4 Sport is delighted to announce that they will continue as lead sponsor of the Seeley Cup 10K organised by Willowfield Harriers, which is celebrating its 35th year. The race takes place on Saturday 26 November starting in Ormeau Park, Belfast (2.30 pm) and is the 2016 NI & Ulster 10K Road Race Championships.
Almost 950 runners completed last year’s race through the beautiful surrounds of Ormeau Park with Clonliffe’s, Gary Murray taking the Men’s title and Letterkenny’s Ann-Marie McGlynn the Women’s.
Helping launch the 2016 event is World and European Masters Competitor 2015, Cathy McCourt of North Belfast Harriers, and Willowfield’s Gary Morrow. With Cathy’s strong racing year, she is setting her sights on the podium for this upcoming race. Seen by many as one of the premier road races of the road running calendar, this is an ideal opportunity to test herself against the very best road runners in the north of Ireland and beyond.
Podium 4 Sport have extensive experience in providing expert advice regarding athletics, particularly relating to endurance running. The Montgomery Road store boasts a group highly trained staff who are available to provide Video Gait Analysis.
