There are a range of International athletes set to compete at this year\u2019s improved Bobby Rea International Cross Country on Saturday 9th<\/sup>\u00a0November at the Billy Neill MBE Country Park.<\/p>\n The historical Bobby Rea Memorial Cross Country will this year incorporate the Northern Ireland International Cross Country, attracting athletes from the UK, Ireland and across Europe to the Lisburn & Castlereagh Council owned facility.<\/p>\n The event is part of the Athletics NI XC League, so numbers are expected to be high, with local athletes competing to gain points for their club, as well as the newly introduced, International contingent.<\/p>\n Among those confirmed so far are Ireland\u2019s Sergiu Ciobanu, who finished in 8th<\/sup>\u00a0place (2:17.17) in the recent Dublin Marathon and Clonmel AC\u2019s Kevin Maunsell. They will be joined by Irish Olympic Steeplechaser, Michelle Finn and Dublin City Harriers\u2019 Jodie McCann.<\/p>\n
