County Antrim Harrier, Wendy Forsythe, was in action at Aintree on Saturday (16th<\/sup>\u00a0November), representing Northern Ireland that the British and Irish Masters XC International. \u00a0Wendy rose to the occasion taking the testing 6k course in her stride and giving her all.\u00a0 The Club is very proud of her.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Closer to home, 8 Harriers were in action at the popular 26 Extreme Tollymore Trail Marathon events.\u00a0 The chilly, dry day meant conditions were perfect for running the beautiful forest trails and hills of Tollymore; with half marathoners completing one loop, marathoners two loops, and ultra-participants three loops.\u00a0 First to toe the line were training partners Lyn Hardie, Sarah Kinnear and David Hamill in the Ultra event (40 miles).\u00a0 Unfortunately David had to reluctantly pull-out early due to injury; but the ladies continued, crossing the line together in an impressive 7:35:09, to take a well-deserved podium place (third female finishers).<\/p>\n
