{"id":9410,"date":"2019-09-24T21:44:35","date_gmt":"2019-09-24T20:44:35","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/nirunning.voodooltd.co.uk\/?p=9410"},"modified":"2019-09-24T21:44:35","modified_gmt":"2019-09-24T20:44:35","slug":"selection-policy-for-self-funded-anglo-celtic-plate-100k-home-international-2020","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nirunning.co.uk\/selection-policy-for-self-funded-anglo-celtic-plate-100k-home-international-2020\/","title":{"rendered":"Selection Policy for self-funded Anglo Celtic Plate 100K Home International 2020"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>(<em>NI &amp; Ulster Team 2019 event in Perth, Scotland)<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Date: 16th May,2020<\/p>\n<p>Venue: Boddington, Gloucs, England ( 2-mile loop)<\/p>\n<p>Age Group: Senior<\/p>\n<p>Northern Ireland Team : Up to five(5) men and five(5) Women(100K)<\/p>\n<p>Northern Ireland and Ulster Ultra Running(NIUUR) will be taking a self-funded team to the Anglo Celtic Plate 100K Home International next Spring in England.<\/p>\n<p>This is seen as the continuing development of ultra running in the Province following on from the two (2) bronze medals achieved in Scotland at the Anglo-Celt in 2019.<\/p>\n<p>The aim of selection is to provide an opportunity for ultra-distance athletes on the development pathway to prepare for future competition at European and World level.<\/p>\n<p>Selection Timeline<\/p>\n<p>Ultra runners must email Ed Smith(chairperson, NIUUR) to express interest by Monday,11th November 2019 and should include a CV outlining performances in the last two(2) years.<\/p>\n<p>Email &#8211; ed_n_smith@hotmail.com<\/p>\n<p>The date of selection will be the week beginning November 18, 2019.<\/p>\n<p>Selection Panel<\/p>\n<p>1. Ed Smith, chair NIUUR. (Voting).<\/p>\n<p>2. Jackie Newton, Director of Coaching and Athlete Development ( or other Athletics NI staff member if unavailable).(Voting).<\/p>\n<p>3.
