Shane Benzie, is a movement specialist and running coach and best selling author  of the “The Lost Art of Running”(https://amzn.eu/d/0rpjn7m). His research takes him all over the world, where he studies natural human movement and how to turn it into human performance.

He spends a lot of time with elite athletes, and has created a movement philosophy that focuses on the body’s elastic potential which maximises dynamic movement and significantly reduces the chances of injury.  He works with runners of all abilities from complete beginners to elite level.
The following video was taken after Shane ran a series of workshops for the Omagh Harriers in Nov 2023.

And a testimonial from Andy, who attended a previous workshop –
‘Shane clearly has a passion for helping anyone with their movement and form. His knowledge and experience, coupled with his highly positive and “can-do”  attitude, leads to a very absorbing and informative workshop. The 4 hours went by in a blink and I could have easily stayed all day listening to him. Plenty of inspiration and takeaways. Thank you Shane!’
