We’ve had a busy weekend here at MRC with our Couch to 5k heroes absolutely smashing their targets at the Spooktacular last night and at the Park Run this morning. We couldn’t be prouder of this fab bunch. Well done ?
As if that wasn’t enough, we had not one but THREE milestone birthdays to mark with Geraldine then going on to win her new age category at the Spook! What perfect timing!!
Only two things for it- cake ? and fizz ? and boy did we have a great night celebrating in our little VIP area ?
We were thrilled at the response to the C25k and maintaining those numbers through to the end of the programme seemed unimaginable but we did and in no small part thanks to the dedication of our coach Bryony, with her never ending positivity and motivation, supported by MRC members too.
So wonderful to see such enthusiasm, encouragement, support, community spirit and friendship amongst the group and this after only 8 weeks ?
