It was a fantastic week for Termoneeny Running Club.  Thomas Doherty came first in the Tamlaght O’Crilly 5k and prizes were won by Tony Toner and Tom Halferty at Fergal’s Ten Miler.  A new personal best was recorded by Michael Burke who ran a sub-19 minute time for a 5k.  In addition to these achievements, excitement is mounting at TRC because a long period of conscientious training has almost reached its culmination for members who are taking part in the Dublin City Marathon next weekend.  The club wishes all its marathon runners the very best of luck.

Fergal’s 10 Miler

The third annual Fergal’s 10 Miler race took place on Saturday morning at Davagh Forest.  Well done to all TRC members who took part in this challenging but scenic route.  Congratulations to age category winners, Tony Toner and Tom Halferty.   Appreciation is forward to Acorns AC for their exceptional hospitality and it was another fitting tribute to their late member, Fergal Mulgrew.

Getting ever closer to the 50 parkruns milestone is Anne Breen who ran her 40th parkrun at Antrim and finished in a great time of 33:49.  Well done Anne.

Limavady Parkrun

The aforementioned Michael Burke achieved a very well deserved personal best at Limavady parkrun.  Michael broke the 19 minute barrier for a 5k and finished in 3rd place with an amazing result of 18:56.  Excellent running as always from Michael.
